An Elder Law Practice

Your highest quality of life is our priority.

Welcome to the website of Camilla O. McRory, Attorney at Law. Camilla has been practicing law in Rockville since 1978, and since the 1980s, she has focused her practice on the legal needs of the elderly. Here, on our website, you will find more information about our services, our coworkers, and the Elder Law field.

What We Do

Our philosophy is that through quality of care and quality of work, we can help you achieve peace of mind and greater quality of life. We use our combined experience and talents to help our clients enjoy living as independently as possible and to the fullest extent of their abilities. We work with seniors, future seniors, and their close family members or other caregivers to plan ahead for or manage the legal issues that old age might bring. We tailor our services to the client, so what we do depends on the needs of each person.

For some clients, we help with financial and estate planning (including drafting Wills, Deeds, and Powers of Attorney), and we administer Estates when a client has died. For others, we help plan for physical or mental incapacity in later life, long-term care, and/or Medical Assistance. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for more detailed information about the services we provide.

An Interdisciplinary Approach

The trademark of the firm is that we provide personal and comprehensive service. Rather than trying to solve only a specific problem, the firm aims to serve "the whole person." Our experience as an Elder Law firm is enhanced by a professional support staff, including an accomplished geriatric Social Worker, Susan L. Hoffman.

This team approach is unique. We remain one of the few Elder Law firms in Maryland that includes an on-staff geriatric Social Worker. Susan has contacts with nursing homes, doctors, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. Her professional experience and familiarity with each legal case make her an ideal counselor, advocate, and case manager for our clients and their families.
